Wilhelm Lilliehook purchased Kelcas in Owensboro, Kentucky, in 2000. The family of companies–originally founded in 1988–specialized in oil exploration, production, and servicing.

And Wilhelm Lilliehöök continues to focus most of his efforts on Kelcas’ exploration and production, but is also working to develop an economical, environmentally friendly method of extracting oil from tar sand.

The family of Wilhelm Lilliehook lives overseas. He enjoys boating, working on cars, 20th century European history, and international travel.

1) Flo Mata – Vice President of Operations – Kelcas

Florencio Mata graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1975 with a BS in Geophysics/Geology, and has completed graduate work in Petroleum Engineering.

With over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Mata began his career with Amerada Petroleum Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He held various management positions with Santa Fe Energy Company in Amarillo, Texas, most of which entailed exploration.

2) Peter Ekman – Project Development – Kelcas

Peter Ekman is actively engaged in searching and developing new assets for Wilhelm Lilliehook company ‘Kelcas’. A part-owner in Kelcas, he brings a wealth of knowledge from his 30+ year career as an international crude oil trader. After obtaining a Masters of Science from the Royal Academy of Technology in Stockholm, Peter went on to manage over 320,000 barrels per day in comb capacity, also creating and supplying feedstock mix to several refineries in Sweden, where he spent the majority of his career.

3) Charles Raymond – Acquisitions and Land Management – Kelcas

Charles is a veteran landman, having begun his career in the Appalachian Basin in 1978. He led Raymond Land Service, Inc. until 1986, serving a broad portfolio of clients including Quaker State Oil Company and Berea Oil & Gas. Eventually, he took his team in-house at Belden and Blake, where he contributed to realizing approximately $400 million in annual revenue. Up until 1996, Charles was responsible for lease operations of over 8,000 wells and over 10,000 leases spanning 1.3M acres.

4) Federico Marques – Chief Technology & Strategy Officer – Kelcas

Mr. Marques is the Chief Technology Officer of Kelcas Corporation. He left LANXESS Corporation in 2007 having been their NAFTA Head of Quality from 2005-2007. Prior to that, he served as NAFTA Head of Quality & Management Systems for Bayer Corporation from 2001- In 2009, Mr. Marques conceived of and co-founded Ruggles Green restaurant group in Houston, Texas. In 2017, he sold Ruggles Green to a Private Equity firm who intends to build the brand across the United States.

5) Jake Campbell – Production Superintendent – Kelcas

Jakob Campbell, a co-founder of Campbell Energy started with the company since inception. Starting with ¾ bbl per day, by 2016 Jake built Campbell Energy into the top oil producer in the Illinois Basin, producing over 4600 bbl of oil per day. While being the most active driller in the basin over the last couple years, Campbell Energy continues to increase reserves and Production on a scale not seen before in the Illinois Basin.

About CEO of Kelcas Corporation – Wilhelm Lilliehook

Wilhelm Lilliehook is a seasoned businessman with a long career of successful ventures. He completed his studies at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, in 1973, with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economy, and Organization.

In 1982, Wilhelm Lilliehook embarked on a startup venture, organizing a spinoff of Mattel Electronics in Scandinavia and Finland. The group focused on product development, imports, distribution, marketing, and service of Mattel Electronics Intellivision.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s Wilhelm oversaw the expansion of Pewex, Poland’s largest Western currency chain store. He also worked on a number of international contracts in radio and satellite communication and high tech electronics, and as communication consultant–and later contractor–to Russia’s first Five-Star hotel, the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg.

And Wilhelm Lilliehook moved to the United States in 1995 to serve as president to 160 Research based in Clinton County, Kentucky. He worked to develop new, environmentally-friendly techniques for producing high octane blend stock for gasoline.

Wilhelm purchased Kelcas in Owensboro, Kentucky, in 2000. The family of companies–originally founded in 1988–specialized in oil exploration, production, and servicing, and owned 330 stripper wells on roughly 11,000 leased acres. Kelcas grew rapidly under Wilhelm’s leadership.
